Two Volusia County elementary school teachers and former collegiate tennis players, encouraging kids to build their creative minds and athletic abilities.
Artletics After School Enrichment Program
Artletics is coming to Horizon Elementary! We are running Artletics After School Enrichment Program all year long. We will run 4 sessions, incorporating both science and social studies standards. Session 3 is now available for sign-up!
• First session: Fall in Love with Artletics (Life Science and American History)
• Second session: Artletics Around the World (Physical Science and Geography)
• Third session: Spring Into Nature with Artletics (Earth Space Science and Economics)
• Fourth session: Artletics Sets Sail in the Sun and Sea (Nature of Science and Civics/Government)
A Look into an Afternoon with Artletics
• 2:30-3:00 Provide homework help, tutoring, and snack. We will keep in contact with your child’s teachers to see what they need tutoring/enrichment services for.
• 3:00-3:45 Art Education – art crafts, projects, reader’s theater, writing workshops, incorporating your child’s science and social studies standards.
• 3:45-4:30 Athletics with Team Building/Social Skills

All About Artletics
Does your child love sports? Is your child an artist in the making? Does your child love to have fun with their creative mind?
Join us for a mixture of it ALL.
As two collegiate tennis players, we will teach your child various sports and how to be a team player. Each week we will focus on teaching your child sports, along with teamwork skills and sportsmanship with fun games to learn the importance of working together on the court/field. As qualified teachers with 7 years of elementary and high school experience in Volusia County, we will teach your child how to use their creative mind. They will create many projects and crafts, learning about different inspiring artists and athletes too. We will go on virtual field trips, will have guest speakers and presenters, and will even get to create art for the school.
